New Gmail layout to be expected by the end of Q2 2022!
The existing Gmail layout is to be replaced with a new integrated view, i.e., now switching between the inbox, Google meets, spaces and more will become an easy process.
With the new layout, you can have easy access to other tools such as Google Meet, Google Chat, and spaces without having them always on the screen. The changes can be expected to be rolled out by the end of Q2 2022.
A prompt will be created to encourage users to shift to the new layout. The integrated version is designed to help users make a swift switch between their inbox, important conversations, and meetings without opening different windows simultaneously.
According to Google, the integrated view will be available to users with a Google Workspace Business Starter, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Business Standard, Enterprise Standard, Education Fundamentals, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus, Nonprofit, Frontline, G Suite Basic, or Business account, except for Workspace Essentials customers at present.
