Sireesha Bhagavatula is a talented Indian playback singer known for her soulful voice and remarkable versatility in singing across multiple languages. Raised in a musically inclined family in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, she began singing at a very young age. With formal training in Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western classical music, she built a solid foundation that supports her dynamic vocal talent. Despite being a gold medalist in engineering from Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering, she chose to pursue her passion for music over a conventional career path. Sireesha gained national attention through her participation in music reality shows like Indian Idol Season 12, Super Singer, and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, where her powerful performances made a lasting impact.

Her major breakthrough came with the song “Ghodey Pe Sawaar” from the Netflix film Qala, composed by Amit Trivedi. The song brought her widespread recognition and earned her the ‘Breakthrough Playback Singer of the Year’ award at the OTTplay Changemakers Awards 2023. She also sang other notable tracks from Qala, such as “Phero Na Nazariya,” “Shauq,” and “Rubaaiyaan.” Sireesha has collaborated with acclaimed composer A.R. Rahman on films like Bigil, Ponniyin Selvan: I, and Cobra, expanding her presence in Tamil and Telugu cinema.Her 2023 independent single “Tanha,” created in collaboration with composer Sterlin Nithya, beautifully highlights her artistic depth and versatility.
