Ankush Bhardwaj is a renowned Indian singer and music composer who rose to fame as the first runner-up of Indian Idol Season 10 in 2018. Hailing from Kotgarh, Himachal Pradesh, he discovered his passion for music early and received formal training at Channa Music Academy in Shimla. A commerce graduate with an MBA in Finance from Amity University, Noida, Ankush began his musical journey through regional competitions like Voice of Himalayas and Himachal Ki Awaaz, eventually Won Sangam Sur Sangeet Ka Season 1 in 2013.
After his success on Indian Idol, Ankush transitioned into playback singing, debuting with the song “Sab Badhiya Hai” from the Bollywood movie Sui Dhaaga. Despite living with keratoconus, a vision impairment condition, Ankush has remained focused on his music career and even served as a member of the grand jury on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 9.
