Mandeep Singh is one of India’s most dynamic and consistent field hockey forwards. Since making his international debut in 2013, he has become a vital part of the national team, known for his sharp positioning, composure under pressure, and knack for scoring crucial goals—earning him the nickname “Mr. Fourth Quarter.” With over 260 international appearances and more than 120 goals, Mandeep has represented India in multiple major tournaments, including the Olympics, Asian Games, World Cups, and Commonwealth Games. His efforts have contributed to India securing medals across these competitions, including an Olympic bronze and an Asian Games gold.

Off the field, Mandeep’s journey has been equally inspiring. Hailing from Jalandhar, Punjab, and trained at the renowned Surjit Hockey Academy, Mandeep Singh has showcased his talent with top clubs such as Ranchi Rhinos, Delhi Waveriders, and ONGC. In recognition of his exceptional attacking skills, he was honoured with the Arjuna Award in 2021 and has earned several accolades, including the prestigious Dhanraj Pillay Forward of the Year Award.  Beyond his personal success, he is respected for mentoring younger players and evolving into a dependable team leader. In March 2025, he married fellow hockey player Udita Duhan, further cementing his deep ties to the sport.
