Abhishek Nain, a dynamic hockey player & forward in Indian men’s hockey, originates from Sonipat in Haryana. Coming from a humble background, he was introduced to the sport at an early age. He developed his skills under the mentorship of Shamsher Singh Dahiya, a Hindi teacher who recognized his potential & determination. Despite facing a serious childhood injury, Abhishek made a strong comeback & rose through the ranks, representing Punjab National Bank & Hockey Haryana at the domestic level. His talent & consistent performances earned him a spot in the national team, where he made his senior debut in the FIH Pro League & went on to play key roles in major international tournaments.

Hockey Player Abhishek Nain was signed by the Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers in the Hockey India League, garnering attention as one of the league’s top picks. He has played a key role in India’s international achievements, securing a bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympics, a gold at the 2022 Asian Games, & a silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Known for his speed, sharp instincts, & tactical intelligence, he is often praised for his ability to create scoring opportunities & deliver under pressure. Recipient of the Arjuna Award & named Hockey India’s Forward of the Year, Abhishek Nain remains a driving force in the resurgence of Indian hockey.
